Hey folks, Ize gotza question! I've been around and around trying to find out just exactly how to wrap a video in php, or whatever the term is, so that I can post them here. I did it once properly and then later tried again but got my wrists lightly wrapped for not "wrapping it in php".

No shit, I can find out how to do most anything but for some damned reason I cannot get myself right with how to do this. Anyone have any sites/links/tutorials that might help me with figuring out this almost certainly easy thing?

Any help is appreciated

Generally ...

One can simply post the URL from the following directly in the text box with NO code wrap. I have a module add on that allows one to post in that manner and not have to worry about video tags.

Hulu (http://www.hulu.com/)
YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/)
Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/)
Dailymotion (http://www.dailymotion.com/)
Metacafe (http://www.metacafe.com/)
Google (http://video.google.com/)
facebook (http://www.facebook.com/)

If this is a PERSONAL, from your PC type video then that is not currently possible as 1st it would need to be on my server and then I would have to parse the links inside a php tag.

Also ..

If you are using the "INSERT VIDEO" tool on the tool bar and it gives you an error message saying that your message is too short simply add a single period after the closing Video tag.

This is a known error and will be fixed soon.

Not a personal video, but I will be doing that soon. This add-on module, is that new for VB4.0.1 and not for the previous? If not then I must've really fucked it up earlier.

Thanks for the response, I'll give it a shot soon!

Nope not new...

I've had the add -on that allows folks to post true urls and not the [video] tags since I opened this place.

Simply c/p the Url.

( NO LONGER VAILD ... USE THE TOOL BAR )
