I guess it depends on the table. Are we talking mahogany hand-polished or 50's-hop-type table?

hehe...I like you.
I'm thinking more of a hand polished oak table. Not that big of a fan of mahogany, though it has its points.

That's a good choice too. I build a cherry desk at the end of my apprenticeship. Not solid, but turned out nicely.

Cherry? As long as the chairs are not upholstered I'm in. I'm thinking a nice beef wellington and garlic mashed potatoes. Possibly a key lime cheesecake for dessert. Oh, and a nice merlot from Markham to round out the table.

Any thread turned to conversation about yummy food is splendiferous :laluot_29:
May I have a barbecued turkey leg, please? I've been dying for one but can't find anyone who makes em. Even at the local weekend farmers' market :(

I have never barbecued a turkey...Although I am pretty good at barbecue cornish game hen. Will this suffice or should I dig through my recipe books?

I'll see what I can do but not making any promises. Most of the turkeys around here run when they see me coming.

When another n00b comes along, I'll put it back on. Either that or when I decide I want to go to the park. Whichever comes first.
