I guess it depends on the table. Are we talking mahogany hand-polished or 50's-hop-type table?

I'm thinking more of a hand polished oak table. Not that big of a fan of mahogany, though it has its points.

Oak is ugly... hand polished or not..

That's a good choice too. I build a cherry desk at the end of my apprenticeship. Not solid, but turned out nicely.

Cherry? As long as the chairs are not upholstered I'm in. I'm thinking a nice beef wellington and garlic mashed potatoes. Possibly a key lime cheesecake for dessert. Oh, and a nice merlot from Markham to round out the table.

Whoa...just outclassed me by a few miles. I was hooked with the steak and garlic taters.

I have never barbecued a turkey...Although I am pretty good at barbecue cornish game hen. Will this suffice or should I dig through my recipe books?
