Yeah, I went into it expecting it to be unwatchable for me.

All the clips were so gay and obviously geared toward teenage girls that I expected to only watch about 30 minutes and then quit.

I am unfamiliar with the twilight genre, My poontang has read the books and said its close to the story but not fully accurate.

Anyway, I watched it with the predisposition of thinking it was straight up pre-teen crap.

I am simply saying it is not the worst piece of crap to roll of the line lately nor is it a distant relation to its reviews.

Example : The Watchmen ... touted as the tits of all tits ..I found it to be little more than an average movie that was interrupted by some dude's blue cock every 30 minutes or so.

That's a shame. Twas an hour or so unwasted in watching. While the story unfolds, you get the feeling you have the gist (sp?) of the twist in the plot, but the plot thickens.... muahahaha.

Try it... you might like it.

Same at my house ... and even with the feature to spin up the shitty look of a normal DVD to 'near' blu-ray its still not the same.

True blu-ray on a kick ass 40 plus inch TV blows DVD away every time.

I know! I have a 56 incher and so if there are any imperfections on the dvd you WILL see it so i've just stuck with bluray. Its stupid, a friend of mine got me this awesome kung fu collection on dvd but i can't even appreciate it because of all of the grain.

BTW have you noticed that they JUST NOW started releasing classic kung fu flicks on dvd?? Whats up with that? I want high quality awesomeness damnit, not something that can be played on a dvd player but has the picture quality of a vhs..and don't tell me that don't have the technology to completely remaster them because i know they do...

I think you missed a moment in time. Pretty basically, you take 2 actors at random and see how many links it takes to tie them together. A link is a movie they were in with another actor, then new actor was in a movie with a different actor who was in a movie with still another actor until you reach the second actor picked at random.

I went out and bought it yesterday and i just got around to watching it, and I'm sorry to say it was indeed awesomeness.

What version did you watch? The theatrical version sucked big time, but duuude..the directors cut is where it's at.

But if you have seen the directors cut then what exactly was your reasoning behind not liking it? I'm curious..

The hype had it as a blockbuster. I found it to be run of the mill and under developed character wise especially when compared against other big budget films released during the same time.

I dunno .. it just did not have the ummph of the original Watchman novel.

On a side note, Rorschach is my fav of the group. His line of "None of you understand. I'm not locked up in here with you. You're locked up in here with me." was well said and right on character for him and his need to destroy the wicked and provide some redemption for mankind's lack of involvement.
