Police descended in force on a Midtown home this afternoon and took into custody several suspects in yesterday's homicide at a Mountain View apartment.

The suspects were taken to police headquarters after the raid in the 3200 block of Westmar Circle -- near Latouche Street and Benson Boulevard -- about 3 p.m., police Lt. Dave Parker said. SWAT team and patrol officers swarmed the home, although the people eventually came out willingly, he said.
Detectives did not release how many people were in custody nor were they identified.

"They located persons involved in the homicide from yesterday and they are questioning those persons now," Parker said.
Robert Christensen, 24, lived with his father in Wasilla but had been staying at his friend's apartment in the 600 block of North Klevin Street in Mountain View when a fight broke out about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. Someone pulled a gun and started shooting -- over what remained unclear -- and Christensen was shot once in the chest.
Police performed CPR but he was pronounced dead on the scene. The suspects ran off and police have been looking for them since. Parker said all available homicide detectives were working the case.

This ^ is really close to my house. That same night, there was some asshole poppin off shots on my street. 4 total. I was wondering why there weren't more police around here. Heh. I s'pose this explains it.

Friday, my mother was over visiting and right about the time she was planning to leave, 8 or 9 cop cars showed up outside our apartment building, blocking off all exits. Guns drawn, they searched the town homes next door. Crazy stuffs.

Before that, was when homie smashed into the apartment below me with his (stolen?) SUV.

Earlier this summer, a drug deal gone sour turned up two dead teens on the street behind mine.

If I was a police officer assigned to my area, I would hate my life. I don't blame them for delayed responses and lack of care for the residents.

There is waaaaay too much goin on for Josie comfort.

If you're interested.... google maps: Klevin , San Roberto

** And to those of you (cough) tigger (cough) who tell me Connecticut is no better.. I call bullshit.
