Loggin out unexpectedly

Every time I log in and after checking things out, when I click the Forums Tab
next to the Portal, I have to log in again.

Is this the way you meant it to be?

Using Vista and FF btw.

The portal page has always given me a similar issue. No matter how many times I would log in (and clear my cache), if I was on the portal page, it would say I wasn't logged in.

Clicking another tab would show me as signed in though.

Also. If you aren't active around the forums for a period of time, it automatically logs you out. It's to make sure the logged in members list isn't bloated with people who logged in, saw something shiny, and wandered off.

To fix that, you can just check the box that says "remember me" next to the login fields. If you're already doing that and still having issues... I don't know what to tell ya.

I'm also using firefox.

Yeah ..the portal is an odd fucker.

I 'thought' I had that situation fixed ages ago because nobody complained anymore.

Quick fix: Set THIS LINK (http://swollencranium.com/forums/index.php) as your home page instead of the Portal.

The portal will go away soon.

Do you have the 'remember me' box ticked?

I have thousands of hours on the forum and have never had the logging out issues .. sorry !!
