What have I done wrong? Why isnt my PM folder saving "sent" pm's? Is there something I should tick or untick?

Yup. Me too. I was wondering myself if the problem was widespread.

PMs are wacky all round.
I've had complaints about empty PM replies, then 2 mins later the reply comes through.

It's not a simple on/off thing.
Somewhere there is a hiccup in a code ... finding it is not easy.

OK ... somebody do some Pming and let me know ..
REMEMBER ... YOU HAVE TO SET SAVE a copy in your sent folder in YOUR usercp as well.

It works now. You must go to user cp > edit options > private messaging > tick the last box (save sent messages) then click SAVE at bottom of page.

Indeed.
I did some changes recently and MAY have inadvertently unselected that for everyone.
I dunno ...
When I am in the guts of the forum code I keep notes all the stuff I do in order to be able to retrace my steps ... I have no notes in reference to anything that could have cause this.
Twas odd indeed.

Is it possible to make save sent messages a default setting instead of members having to do it manually in the future? Just a blond thought, sorry. :yociexpress09:
